 Question of the week "It is essential for a TV programme to simultaneously target both mass and specialised audiences" Explore this statement with reference to  Les Revenants this statement refers to 'Les Revenants' strongly as the show has many audiences. the mass audience of 'Les Revenants' is middle-class people, this relates to reception theory as the audience will notice similarities between them and the cast. for example a strained mother could notice similarities between her and Julie, or an outcast teen could relate to lena. the reception of the audience would immediately to notice these similarities therefore making the show feel more relatable for a mass portion of the country.  'Les Revenant's main specialised audience is very self explanatory with it being sci fi. when a scifi fan sees this trailer they would instantly be intrigued as it is an original idea and a new take on the zombie genre. these references to zombies they would easily r...
