Nazamin is hegemonically attractive and with a white man this is an example of post-colonialism theory.

She said: “It has been a very big struggle trying to get my dad’s name out there; we were slightly more successful in the last year of our campaign because of the efforts of Amnesty and other organisations that finally joined us.

Explain how ownership shapes media products. Refer to the Daily Mirror and The Times

Tabloid vs Broadsheets

Mirror- Uses san-serif font appeals to working class audiences, 50p and more informal lexus

Times- More formal lexus, higher prices £2.20 and far fewer pictures

The Daily Mirror

- more pictures

- lots of colour

David Hesmondhalgh- minimise risk and maximise profit

- headline story on Mirror is 'MP Killer had Gove as target' as they are not directly saying it and are only quoting others- Extremely, exciting story which gets viewer attention. this is an example of self regulation
