To what extent does this apply to Les Revenants?

Les Revenants presents complex and powerful representations of women in particular which reflects the time in which it was made. However, Les Revenants also completely excludes non white characters which is highly stereotypical and even racist.

Not only this, but Les Revs will be highly relatable to white middle class and french target audiences., who may not live in Paris or other built up cities.
